Today marks the last regular school day of the second semester. By that, I mean the normal day where people still attend their classes and see their teachers and all of their block mates. In just a few months, I will no longer be a freshman, but a sophomore student. I will no longer have classes with my entire English block and I will no longer have any NatSci subjects. To think that one year ago, I was just thinking about entering college and what kind of life I will have in Manila. But now, I am almost through with one year of my existence in college. High school seems like a faded, distant memory...
Anyway, the regional level for the Metrobank-MTAP Math Challenge just finished today. Unfortunately, the representatives from my school finished 5th for both individual and team. They had mental block while they were in the contest... so sad. Perhaps next year is the time that our school could rule the regionals, and possibly go to the nationals (and rule it, while they're at it). I guess I'm still living out my frustrations of not finishing first place in the regionals for both individual and team (our school only finished 2nd place for both team and individual... we were so close! damn carelessness

Yesterday, I realized that I still would not reach DL status. Although I don't care that much about being DL or not, I still do get affected by it (who wouldn't?). Here is my tentative grades (based on the advisory marks and known marks):
En101 - C
Lit14 - C+
Fil12 - C
PS1 - B (i'm just assuming this)
PS2 - A
Ma21 - A
I'd get a QPI of 2.97. Assuming that my PS1 grade would miraculously be an A, my QPI would be 3.13. Supposing that case is true, I need at least one letter grade increase for each language subjects I have (which I believe is impossible, since I suck in Filipino, and I'm not good enough for my English class) to reach DL status. Oh well, screw being a DL! As long as my QPI is greater than 2.50, I can still maintain my scholarship, and that is all that is important. Being DL is only an added bonus of my hard work(?). To myself: Be content! You still have your scholarship!
To finish off this entry, here's the product of all my studying for Math (along with having an extremely nice teacher) this sem...
