internet, internet

Where is the net?  It's almost a month and the dorm still has no access to the internet.  The only time I access the net is when I go to campus with my laptop and bum on the Hotzone wi-fi (and see a handful of dormers also bumming on the wi-fi), or when I go to the computer labs (like what I'm doing right now).  Internet can be distracting...  But there are times when I urgently need it, and it's usually the time when the guard in Kostka Extension says it's past midnight so I need to go back to the dorm.  Another thing about having no net is that I get out of touch with the outside world.  Many dormers don't have access to television (yes I know we have TV rooms in Eliazo and Cervini though not in the new dorm, but we don't usually watch TV).  There are no newspapers in the lobby of the new dorm.  I only get information because people talk about it (e.g., "barko ni Arnold nalunod!").

I'd like to borrow a quotation from Babette's Feast, and change it.  Here it goes, "Throughout the residence halls sounds one long cry from the mouths of the dormers: Give us the chance to have internet"
